Bonaire’s post-pandemic glow is undeniable, from its world-class diving to its vibrant food scene and charming boutique hotels. Once a hidden gem for divers, the island has been welcoming record-breaking visitor numbers and buzzing with fresh energy.
Now, it’s set to make even bigger waves with the upcoming launch of JetBlue’s first-ever flights to Bonaire. Starting in November, JetBlue will offer twice-weekly nonstop service from New York’s JFK Airport to Bonaire’s Flamingo Airport, operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays—perfect timing for the peak winter travel season. Each flight will take just under 5 hours.
This new route is a major win for Bonaire’s push to attract more American visitors, especially from the Northeast.
As for fares? A sample booking the week after launch shows prices around $435 for JetBlue’s Blue fare class—a solid deal for a flight of this distance, especially compared to what American Airlines has been charging for its Miami-Bonaire route in recent years.
